Next, our multi-axis CNC machinery and precision waterjet cutters shape the stone with pinpoint accuracy. Finally, our skilled stonemasons hand-finish and polish every edge to a flawless standard.
Yes. We specialise in crafting seamless integrated stone basins (also known as block or trough basins). Our stonemasons precision-cut and mitre pieces from the exact same stone slab as your vanity top. This ensures that the natural veining patterns flow continuously from the countertop down into the sink bowl for an ultra-luxury, monolithic aesthetic.
Absolutely. We strongly encourage you to visit our workshop to hand-select the raw slab of marble, quartzite, granite, or limestone. Because natural stone features completely unique veining and colour variations, choosing your specific slab ensures the final vanity top perfectly matches your bathroom’s design palette.
While luxury marble remains the most popular aesthetic choice for bathrooms, quartzite and granite offer the highest levels of scratch and stain resistance. If you choose marble or limestone, our team applies specialised sealers to protect the surface from bathroom essentials like cosmetics, soaps, and perfumes.
We fully customise every vanity top to match your specific brassware and plumbing layout. Whether you are installing wall-mounted taps, a single mixer, or classic three-hole basin taps, we precision-drill the exact configurations into the stone before it leaves our workshop. We also cut precise openings for under-mount, over-mount, or sit-on countertop basins.
Natural stone vanity tops and solid stone basins are heavy, typically weighing between 25kg and 60kg per square metre depending on the stone thickness (usually 20mm or 30mm). Because of this weight, your bathroom vanity cabinetry or floating wall brackets must be structurally sound and adequately reinforced to support the load safely. We manufacture brackets in our workshop for each project if required.
Before your vanity top or basin leaves our Kent workshop, we apply a premium, deep-penetrating impregnating sealer like Lithofin MN Stainstop. This sealer clogs the stone’s microscopic pores to repel water, oils, and soap scum. To maintain this protection, we recommend re-applying the sealer once every 1 to 2 years, depending on usage. We can apply a protective film if required.
For daily cleaning, simply wipe the stone surface with a soft microfibre cloth and a dedicated pH-neutral spray, such as Lithofin MN Easy-Care. Never use aggressive everyday bathroom cleaners, limescale removers, bleach, or abrasive scrubbing pads. These products contain harsh acids that will instantly etch and dull the polished surface of marble and limestone.
Etch marks occur when acidic substances chemically react with the calcium carbonate in stones like marble and limestone. To prevent them, avoid placing toothpaste, citrus-based products, shaving creams, or harsh skincare serums directly onto the bare stone. We highly recommend using elegant soap dishes or vanity trays to protect your countertop from accidental drips.
